Who thinks that the current accord is very good looking ?

I would love to see a Type-R one. It’s a shame to waste that good looking body

I like it.
Now, let’s figure out a way to cram 2 of those V6 engines into that engine bay.

No.
Also, these are getting their riyumz stolen pretty much all the time here. Don’t know if it happens anywhere else.

I’ve been saying a RWD Accord with a turbo V6 would be great against the 3.8 Genesis.

I’ve been wanting to shove another V6 on the rear wheels of my Accord, and make it an AWD 12-cylinder beast.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go start a GoFundMe page.

No I actually love it. But I really hate this high-beltline trend on the Fusion/Sonata/Mazda6/200. I also hate most modern Honda designs. The Accord is more of a classic design and I approve of that.

The current coupe is wonderful looking. If they made it all wheel drive, they’d have a hit

It is very Honda like. Much conserve. Very not-the-nail-that-sticks-out-gets-hammered.

It’s a damn nice looking car, although compared to some others in the class...
Let’s face it, the midsize segment is chock full of some damn fine looking cars.

I’d rather have a SH-AWD version. That system kicks ass.
![]() 05/24/2015 at 00:06 |

But turbo V6. Honda must Type R all the things and give us a turbo V6 engine in the Accord with SH-AWD.

Me likey.

This ruins it. I don’t know how it is called, but cars with very small distance from the door to the wheel look very bad. I know it is normal for FWD cars, but Mazda and Hyundai/Kia do it better.

They all look angry too. Too bad Mazda got rid of its happy face.

Too bad I see these everywhere, especially in white.

No, you’re not alone, there hasn’t been an Accord this good looking for over twenty years.
Its looks remind me of this...

I miss when Type-R meant specifically non turbo. I still have a dream that one day Honda will make a K20-based 2.5 liter I5 with Direct Injection and high cam VTEC that puts out 275hp @ 8000 rpms on the way to a 8600 red line...

In Sport trim with the 6 speed manual, its very tempting to me.
But the mazda6 is even more tempting.

Sadly that’s all been replaced by emissions regulations. I’m afraid the N/A engine is going extinct.

It’s the more conservative of the midsizers. I think the design will last and it won’t look dated in 20 years. Think about the swoopy lines of the new Chrysler 200 and Mazda 6. Swoopy lines are this generation’s tailfins, pop up head lights, or louvers.

You are not alone my friend

I guess I can see that. There has to be a reason people keep mistaking them for Ferraris .
![]() 05/24/2015 at 00:32 |

Far from it.
My mother agrees as well, since she bought one (make of that what you may).

It’s a pretty sharp car aimed at pretty dull people.
![]() 05/24/2015 at 01:28 |

It’s definitely good looking for what it is.

It’s one of my favorite Honda sedans to date. A few of my friends have them and they really are great inside and out.
The 2016 facelift is ugly as sin.

I find the current Accord to be a pretty handsome car.
The upcoming refreshed 2016 Accord seems like it’s trying too hard with its implementation of Honda’s Solid Wing Face, based on the spy shots. I’ll miss the current look, for sure.

Better. But the wheels, please. IMO.

The sedan’s a little too plain for me, but it’s a lot better done than some of the over-styled cars it goes up again. That being said, I actually really like the coupe. Nice lines.

It is. I saw one today, the guy had a sports exhaust, nice rims and full tint, plus he blacked out the badges on front and rear. I thought it was a lexus at first.

Indeed it is :(
Oh what I would do to have been born 20 years earlier.

It's a good looking car, a conservative design that works well.
![]() 05/24/2015 at 08:52 |

It’s pretty nice, however it’s styling isn’t really a main selling point. It’s looks are also nowhere near as good as the Mazda6.
![]() 05/24/2015 at 12:22 |

I agree, it’s a very handsome car. As Dunnik posted, the rear end really reminds of a 7 or 5 series. There’s legitimately a reason why they sell so many of them, aside from reliability faith. Plus, the 6 speed transmission is super smooth; I’m considering buying one, but perhaps in coupe form.

Aside from the wheels and LED’s I honestly can’t tell it apart from older ones.
